Coleman said it was a great experience playing in a team with Mok who is a very talented athlete.
“Playing this mixed team event internationally, I think has more pressure than the individual event because your game plan has to change in order to have the best outcome,” Coleman said.
“Playing in a team with Natalie (Mok) was a great experience with both of us strategizing and communicating to each other the best way forward.
“It was the first time playing together with Natalie so we didn’t really have the chemistry as other teams did, so it was tough and I am looking forward to more events and the next two days to improve our chemistry to get better results,” he said.
Mok and Coleman finished the first day with 5 over par 75 and the Finnish, 5 under Par 65.
Leading the competition are Allesia Nobilio and Andrea Romano of Italy with 13 under Par 57.
Tee off for the second day will be at 9:40am local time (10pm in Port Moresby) on 14th of October.
