Olympic Solidarity

Established in 1971, the IOC’s Olympic Solidarity program aims to organise assistance for all the National Olympic Committees (NOCs), particularly those with the greatest needs, so that they can develop their own structures to favour the expansion of sport in their country. Through the IOC’s Olympic Solidarity funding, the PNGOC has been able to grow and develop leading to a more effective and efficient organization.

Funding has also been passed on to PNG’s Olympic sports to carry out activities that support the development of their athletes and technical officials and the advance of their national federations.
